ST. LEO's College Kyegobe, Kabarole has closed for two weeks after students striked, complaining of poor school administration, reports Bizimungu Kisakye

The headmaster, Br. Joseph Etubire, on Tuesday said the students had listed about 18 complaints including failure of the administration to get a goalkeeper for their football team.

Etubire noted that the students refused to attend regular classes and morning prep over the weekend.

“They defied our orders. We realised they were preparing to go on the rampage in the night and we sent them away.”

He said five students believed to be the ring-leaders would be punished by the school disciplinary committee.

In July 2006, the students striked and burnt a school truck over the same claims of poor administration.
