It’s Namugongo
Uganda Martyrs SS Namugongo has organised a grand sports day to mark their 40th anniversary celebrations. The Sunday meet will mainly involve inter-house athletics. The event, part of the programme involving neighbouring schools, will culminate into grand celebrations in July.

Maji’s four to miss Express
Maji football club has ruled out four key players in their Super League second round opener away to Express FC today. Coach Abbey Nasur ruled out strikers Edris Kaye and Abbey Kavuma with recurrent knee injuries. Club officials also fear the worst for Moris Okello who has been sidelined since December.

McLister secure schools’ slot
Bishop McLister High School dumped Plus Two SS 3-1 Wednesday to secure a place to represent in the Coca-Cola Schools Cup due in Jinja this month. Hezekiah Baruku netted twice while Allan Mulindwa added another to secure the victory. The Bushenyi champions reached the semi-finals in Masindi last year.
