COACH Sam Walusimbi is confident Uganda will finish on top of the Division Three World Cricket league that starts in Australia on Sunday. The national team of 15 players and four officials leaves today aboard Emirates Airline for the eight-nation tournament.<br>

COACH Sam Walusimbi is confident Uganda will finish on top of the Division Three World Cricket league that starts in Australia on Sunday. The national team of 15 players and four officials leaves today aboard Emirates Airline for the eight-nation tournament.

“We have high hopes in this team, our target is to win all our games and qualify for the mini World Cup in 2009,” former national star Walusimbi remarked.
The squad will have three days of acclimatization in Hong Kong before proceeding to Australia for the opening game on Sunday.

Skilled players Benjamin Musoke and Junior Kwebiiha lead the team.
Uganda that lost automatic qualification for the mini World Cup will have to finish among the top two to get back the status.
Experienced player Joel Olweny is captain of the the team that also has sensational youngsters Roger Mukasa and and Ronald Semanda.
