Uganda seeks Cricket honours

UGANDA are favourites to win the Division Three World Cricket League that gets underway in Darwin, Australia on Sunday. Eight nations will battle for honours and only the top two will be elevated to Division Two for another tournament to be hosted by Namibia in November.

UGANDA are favourites to win the Division Three World Cricket League that gets underway in Darwin, Australia on Sunday.

Eight nations will battle for honours and only the top two will be elevated to Division Two for another tournament to be hosted by Namibia in November.
The losing semi-finalists will remain in Division Three, while the four bottom placed will be relegated to the WCL fourth division.

Uganda is pooled in group B with Hong Kong, Cayman Islands and Tanzania
Their first opponent will be Hong Kong, a country they have never played.
Uganda made an international burst in 2001 with an incredible 10th place finish at the ICC Trophy played in Canada.
