Saint Joseph’s College Layibi (SJCL) lifted the Gulu District Post Primary schools championship at Pece on Saturday. With the victory, Layibi restored its traditional hold on the track and field records when it nearly tripled the other competitors with 149 points. Bishop Angelo Negri took second place with 61 points.

DSO urges
The Lira acting sport officer has appealed to games and sport teachers to give enough time for sports in schools.
