Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) is to introduce bursaries for the best boxers in the national schools championship next month. The move is an attempt by UABF boss Roger Ddungu to take boxing to schools in order to improve the sport.

Ssebabi is the man to beat
Africa body building bronze medallist John Bosco Ssebabi will be the centre of attraction when the Mr Kampala championship is held on August 19 at Nsambya Sharing Hall. Ssebabi will battle foes Ismail Mukalazi and Steven Serumaga for the accolade.
