Don’t take gifts
Children, don’t accept gifts from people you don’t know. They may take you to a place you do not know and end your life there. Take this advice and you will live long.
Nelson Muhoozi,
St. Kizito P/S, Bugolobi

Take time
Take time to be friendly; it’s the source of happiness. Take time to dream; it’s the way to the moon. Take time to give; it’s the mission on earth. Take time to laugh, it is the music of the soul.
Shakillah Asiimwe,
Victoria Nile School

Please learn how to listen
Please children, learn how to listen to elders. When they send you, obey so that you will live longer on earth as the Bible says. When you don’t listen to elders, God will punish you for being disobedient. I’m not meaning that you should listen to everybody, even strangers. But when elders send you, obey and do as they say.
Norah Lunkuse, P5,

I am sad about MV Kabalega
I’m sad because my lovely ship MV Kabalega was involved in an accident last year.
I heard the news on radio that it collided with MV Kaawa and sank. I’m lucky that it did not sink near the Jinja Pier. If it had, i would still be in tears up to now because I loved MV Kabalega so much. Jinja Pier is just opposite our home.
I’m also thankful that no one died in that accident.
Joseph Mugoloza,
Mwiri P/S, Jinja
