THE Central Government has constructed three laboratories worth sh2b in Kayunga district.
The permanent secretary in the Ministry of Education and Sports, Francis Lubanga, said the laboratories would uplift education standards in the district. He said this recently while touring the three laboratories at Namagabi Uganda Muslim Education Association (UMEA) SSS, Kangulumira Public SSS and Nakanyonyi SSS.
“Because these laboratories are expensive, we have started with only three schools in this area,” he said. Lubanga assured the residents of the Government’s commitment to ensuring that all Government-aided schools get laboratories.
“The schools that have not yet received laboratories should be patient,” Lubanga said. The Ministry of Education and Sports also gave the schools English, Science and Biology textbooks and instruction materials worth sh30m. Lubanga handed over the donation.
