NATIONAL rugby coach Yayiro Kasasa has called up a provisional squad of 32 players to prepare for the World Cup qualifiers slated for June and July.

NATIONAL rugby coach Yayiro Kasasa has called up a provisional squad of 32 players to prepare for the World Cup qualifiers slated for June and July.

Robert Seguya, Allan Musoke, Matthias Ochwo, John Musoke and Bonny Morrow are expected to form the spine of the team that faces Morocco June 3 and Ivory Coast July 1 in round 2 of the qualifiers.

Victories for the Rugby Cranes in both matches will see them advance to the second last stage of the qualifiers in Algeria.

“I believe that after defeating Madagascar and getting to this stage in the qualifiers, we shall perform even better against Morocco and Ivory Coast,” Kasasa said.

The team will have medical check-ups at Kyadondo tomorrow.
