UPC presidential candidate Miria Kalule Obote on Saturday criticised the Government for closing the Kasese-Kampala railway line.
She told a rally in Kamwenge town that President Museveni’s government “closed your railway deliberately to make you poor so that they keep you stuck on empty promises. It is a tactic to rule you forever.â€
Refugees get
REFUGEES at Kyangwali refugee camp in Hoima district, who were amputated due to landmines and gunshots, on Saturday received 31 wheelchairs worth about sh5.6m from a US-based charity organisation, Outreach to Africa.
