Kagina gets leadership award

Allen Kagina, the commissioner general of the Uganda Revenue Authority, has won the corporate leadership award for turning around the tax body.

Allen Kagina, the commissioner general of the Uganda Revenue Authority, has won the corporate leadership award for turning around the tax body.

The award was presented to her at a dinner organised by Destiny Consult, an organisation that empowers leaders to serve with excellence and integrity.

Other winners at the leadership exposition at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel were: Andrew Rugasira, who received the Inspirational Leadership Award, and Pastor Michael Kyazze of Omega Healing Centre, who got the Champion of Family Values Award.

Dorothy Kisaka, the executive director of Destiny Consult, said, “Our passion is to champion the cause of good leadership.

Leadership is first a service. We should perform tasks to the best of our abilities.”
