KAMPALA — The commission of inquiry into Bunyoro issues has concluded its public hearings. The secretary of the probe team, Justus Karuhanga, yesterday said, “the list of those we had invited to testify is complete. We are not conducting any more public hearings.â€

ENTEBBE — State minister for water Baguma Isoke yesterday advised African ministers attending the African Ministers’ Council on Water at the Imperial Resort Beach Hotel to implement issues concerning water management rather than just hold endless meetings.

MBALE — Dr. Patrick Wakida, the political assistant to the FDC presidential candidate, Col. Kizza Besigye, has accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of ignoring their complaints. He said the EC was partisan and seemed to favour election rigging.
