THE cholera outbreak in southern Sudan has attacked at least 24 people in Koboko district in the last two weeks, reports Frank Mugabi.

The district director of health services, Dr. Alfred Driwale, on Friday said the first patient came from Sudan on February 3, but died three hours later.

He said they received two other cases, one of which went to Maracha county in Arua district but were managed at home and improved. “The outbreak started on February 10 and since then 24 people have been infected,” Driwale said.
