TWO people were seriously injured when five vehicles collided on Friday near the bridge at the Owen Falls Dam.
Emmanuel Mutajasi, a cyclist and Francis Emorut, a fishmonger, were admitted to Jinja hospital after the collision involving two trailers and three pick-up trucks.
NGO cleans

The Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) on Saturday cleaned two hospitals during its community health initiative launched in Tororo district last week.
The team, led by field coordinator Winston Obeka, cleaned Tororo Main and St. Anthony’s missionary hospitals.
Four dead

FOUR people died and 21 were seriously injured when their Fuso lorry travelling to Adjumani town overturned between Muru-Lii and Ayugi bridge in Atiak, Gulu district. Three people died on the spot while Patrick Igama died at Adjumani Hospital.
