Saturday: El Merreikh v URA

URA FC head coach Deo Sserwada believes his team’s nerve, vigour and maturity gathered from previous big-stage competitions will sufficiently enable them survive any intimidation in Omdurman Stadium en route to glory.

Over 30,000 passionate fans are expected to throng the newly built stadium 25km from Khartoum for the CAF Confederations Cup return tie.

Veteran defender Phillip Obwiny, who has seen it all while at Express and SC Villa, insists URA will swim through rather than sink.
“It will not be an easy game but we will do everything necessary to win. We have ever played more demanding games than this,” Obwiny asserted.

The team jets out out of Entebbe airport at 3pm.
