SIR — I have read an article in <i>the new vision</i> entitled “Kyambogo, please be consistentâ€. This situation is not the preserve of Kyambogo University.
SIR — I have read an article in the new vision entitled “Kyambogo, please be consistentâ€. This situation is not the preserve of Kyambogo University. Last year, the second year evening students at the School of Education at Makerere University actually began their lectures at 11:00am.
Currently, first year students begin at 2:00pm. It beats my understanding when a university advertises evening classes only to find it is actually afternoon or even morning! Evening as a minimum should be from at least 5:30pm.
This scenario is very common with the school of education, and to add insult to injury there is nobody to appeal to for redress!
