SIMBA Telecom will need a little more effort to recover from a massive defeat when they meet Safi in the third outing of the Kampala Kids League (KKL) soccer at Aga Khan School today.

To Simba, the juniors’ afternoon fixture is not only a must-win but an image revamping game after their 0-12 defeat by Alam last weekend.

In the seniors category, Asiatic looks confirmable for their date with Fedex after their 8-1 win over Coca Cola who face WHO.

The games will be played alongside registration for the new basketball season.

* EDGARS Youth Programme and American Christian Volunteers have concluded a soccer skills clinic for kids in Tetugu IDP camp in Gulu. Over 20 kids took part.

The training that targeted 15-18 year olds covered sessions on the laws of soccer, attitude change and question and answer.

Programme director Edgar Watson promised to continue his support for the disadvantaged youth to develop their talents.
