NATIONAL Insurance Corporation (NIC) netball team captain Betty Namukasa has attributed their back-to-back victory in the Nje Cup in Tanzania to new skills the team employs every time they compete against fellow East Africans.

In an interview at The New Vision offices yesterday, Namukasa, who could not hide her joy as the team captain for the last three years, said that they have always engaged new skills and capitalised on mistakes of their opponents to win the cup.

“JKT, JKU Mbweni and Jeshi Stars gave us a hard time but we engaged them using new tactics which eventually worked for us,” Namukasa said.

Parent firm NIC which was due to host the team to a party yesterday called off the event to a later date but the trophy will be paraded at Scandinavian Express bus Kampala terminal on Lumumba Avenue today.
