THE High Court has temporarily halted the take over of one of the biggest school in Wakiso district, St. Mary’s Private boarding Primary School, by dfcu Bank.
The registrar, Paul Walimbwa Gadenya, issued the order, after seven of the 10 shareholders of the school made an application to have dfcu barred from taking over the school over a sh150m loan obtained from the bank by the other three shareholders.
dfcu threatened to take over the school after the three shareholders, dorothy Namukasa, michael Mulima and John Kizito failed to pay back the loan.
