BUGIRI — State minister for fisheries Fred Mukisa has pledged to advocate for a technical school at Wakawaka beach on L. Victoria. Addressing LC3 leaders at Nankoma sub-county headquarters on Tuesday, Mukisa said the school would help the people acquire skills to supplement their income.
Seven held
RAKAI — The Police have arrested seven men over transporting cattle said to be infected with foot and mouth disease from Kakuuto. Kalisizo O/C Station Ezra Isiko said yesterday that other suspects fled.

KAMPALA — The Police are still investigating two suspected PRA rebels, Fred Biryomumaisho and Peter Barihaihi, prosecutor Lillian Omara told Buganda Road Court yesterday.

But the Mukono Police Station chief, James Aurien, has clarified that they are actually investigating a complaint filed by Bakaluba about the theft of parts of his grader as well as alleged torture of the suspect.
