AS Kenya’s Nondies RFC arrive today for the first leg of the Enterprise Cup against a select Kampala XV, national coach Chester Williams is reluctant to let his players take part in the tie at Kampala Club.
A squad of 22 players and five officials arrive this evening by road for the tie that will see a Ugandan side stretching to tame the Kenyans at home.
“We are yet to get permission from Williams to play the national players and as such, a squad is yet to be named for the tie,†Kampala XV coach Sam Ahamya lamented.
Sources from Uganda Rugby Union (URU) revealed that Williams wished to give a chance to the U-21 team to play against the Kenyans.
