Tuhairwe appealed for help, saying he was an orphan and had no financial assistance from relatives.
The operation will be done at Madras Medical Mission at a cost of $13,700 (sh25.3m). Funds can be sent to a Stanbic account, 0121003920401 under Uganda Heart Foundation (Godfrey Tuhairwe).
