MASINDI secondary school is set to get an ultra-modern science laboratory. While laying the foundation stone for the sh60m laboratory recently, education minister Geraldine Bitamazire, hailed parents for improving their children’s learning facilities.

MASINDI secondary school is set to get an ultra-modern science laboratory. While laying the foundation stone for the sh60m laboratory recently, education minister Geraldine Bitamazire, hailed parents for improving their children’s learning facilities.
She also launched the school magazine and inaugurated the old students association. The headmistress, Aminah Mukasa Buyinza, said an additional sh50m was required to complete and equip the laboratory so as to improve sciences at the only day mixed secondary school in the district.
Bitamazire said the Government had shifted emphasis to science and technology disciplines to create scientists and technicians who are vital for national development and social transformation. She urged teachers to provide the career guidance to students so that they study well aware of the opportunities in the labour market.
