Why is MUBS adamant?

SIR — It is surprising that after the National Council for Higher Education and the Minister of Education reversing MUBS’ declaration as an independent university from Makerere, the MUBS academic staff association is still against it. Now the association has petitioned the president to intervene in the wrangle although the president has already been represented by the minister of Education and the Prime Minister. I have followed the saga since the ruling in favour of MUBS in the high court and all letters and articles are against the MUBS declaration. Doesn’t MUBS see this?
