When the Theatre Factory comedians decided to add a ‘spice’ of tragedy in their Nasty Good Story over the weekend, it was unpredictable. And that the play started with a spectacle –– an arrival of the group with loud music – just did it for the outgoing type.
Theatre Factory have made a mark on stage for witty and sarcastic dialogue. So, the gripping tale was about what happens backstage – a tale that lets us into the lives of the dramatists we admire and how the plays we watch are made. A Nasty Good Story is a creative piece. It will make you laugh a lot and cry a bit. That the audience remained disciplined throughout is a relief I will be wishing for this weekend.
