I would like to make some corrections. Nebbi district received the sh65m from the Nile Transboundary Environmental Action Project (NTEAP) of the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI). The micro-grants component of NTEAP is funded by GEF and CIDA.
The NBI is a transitional mechanism that includes the 10 riparian countries namely, Burundi, DR Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Sudan, Uganda, and Eritrea as an observer.
The error is likely to cause unease to our development partners and other NBI countries not mentioned in the article.
