Hornsleth satanic, says minister Buturo

DANISH artist Kristian Von Hornsleth is satanic, gay, racist and mad, the ethics state minister has said.

Dr. Nsaba Buturo yesterday said the Hornsleth name-for-a-pig project in Mukono was an insult to the sovereignty of Ugandans.

He said the government had asked the artist to return and help the police with investigations. Buturo said on arrival, the “police will be ready for him at the airport.”

But the coordinator of the project hailed it in the presence of Buturo, just moments after the minister had condemned it.

He introduced himself as Henry Hornsleth Kayondo but this did not go down well with the minister, who at one point cut Kayondo short and cautioned him saying, “Young man, you have got your self into real trouble.”

“Hon. minister we the residents glorify this project. It has transformed our lives and we will not do anything to harm it,” Kayondo said.

But Buturo asked him, “Do you know the man you are dealing with? Do you know he is satanic, a racist, homosexual and a mental case?”

Kayondo answered, “As for Hornsleth being homosexual, I think that is his nature,” prompting Buturo to chip in, “young man, you have jumped into bed with a man you don’t know.”

The Buteyongera project, Buturo said, should be suspended immediately because “it is a travesty and the government cannot sit back and watch.”
