CONTROVERSIAL danish artist Kristian Von Hornsleth of the Mukono pig-for-name project is at it again.
The artist intends to take his project to another level-by holding a first round, grand four-day but exhibition of the pig project in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
The show will start on November 17 to 20 at the Politikens Hus and thereafter, for another 42 days from November 21 to January 1 at the Hornsleth and Friends Gallery, Copenhagen.
His glossy invites bearing Uganda national colours are going around in Copenhagen.
The front face of the invite (above) bears the photograph of one of the beneficiaries, 73-year-old Namono of Buteyongera village, displaying her new identity card complete with her given names: Hornsleth Janet.
Directly beneath is the name Hornsleth in white against a black background, followed by the words: Village Project Uganda 2006.
The back of the invite bears the Uganda flag with the symbol of honour-the Crested Crane, also in national colours.
The village pig project in which residents swapped names for pigs in a bid to alleviate poverty has drawn the anger of the Government.
Sources said the Danish public was appaled by the lack of official protest from the Ugandan government towards the planned exhibition.
