The Government has earmarked $4m (about sh7.4b) to construct a parking yard at the border. The move is aimed at decongesting Kabale border. MPs David Bahati (Ndorwa west) and Tinkamanyire Kabondo revealed on this. They said it was part of a bigger project by government to modernise parking yards at all border posts. They were touring the district last week. Officials from the transport ministry accompanied them.

BUNYANGABU
You need a positive attitude if you are to get out of poverty. These words were sounded by the general duties minister in the office of the Prime Minister, Adolf Mwesige, to the people of Bunyangabu. He said people are poor because they do not believe they can get rich. He was addressing a workshop in the area.
