It appears that 2004 was singer Bobi Wine's year for making it big! Not only has he bought three acres of land in Magere off Gayaza Road for sh20m, from Lubaga North MP Tom Kayongo, he has also started to construct what looks to be a mega crib.
It appears that 2004 was singer Bobi Wine's year for making it big! Not only has he bought three acres of land in Magere off Gayaza Road for sh20m, from Lubaga North MP Tom Kayongo, he has also started to construct what looks to be a mega crib.
The house and compound cover an acre while a banana plantation takes up two acres. His neighbours tell us that he visits the site at odd hours to safeguard his building material. They go on to say that over the Christmas holidays he bought 20 kilos of pork, 2 crates of beer and numerous bottles of wine. With friends loaded in a four-wheel drive pickup, they spent a day at the site roasting the pork and washing it down with the beers and wines.
