<b>‘Fear God’</b><br>MUKONO — The district’s second best pupil in the Primary Leaving Examination, Theresa Nankanja, has attributed her success to God.

Man jailed
FORT Portal — Grade One Magistrate Jamson Karemani has remanded a man in Katojo Prison over murder. Swaibu Sentamu of Fort Portal Municipality killed Maureen Sanyu, a student of Mpanga Secondary School. The prosecutor, Davis Ariiho, said Sentamu committed the offence on January 12, 2004.

‘Fear God’
MUKONO — The district’s second best pupil in the Primary Leaving Examination, Theresa Nankanja, has attributed her success to God. Nankanja, a former pupil of Namagunga Boarding Primary School, said reading hard and fearing God was a good combination to pass examinations. Nankanja (below), scored four aggregates.

Police recruits
RAKAI — The Police have recruited 19 people out of the 80 who turned up for registration last year. The district Police commander, Patrick Ntoore, on Friday said training for the new entrants would start on January 29 at Masindi Police Traning School. Two women were recruited. Ntoore asked women to apply for vacant posts in the force.
