UEDCL is a pain in the side

SIR— I reside in Namungoona, Kasubi. We have not had power and water for one month now.
SIR— I reside in Namungoona, Kasubi. We have not had power and water for one month now. Nobody from National Water or UEDCL has ever come with a statement to tell us why we don’t have these facilities.
Why does UEDCL then waste a lot of money putting adverts in newspapers for load-shedding. It’s now known that to get power is a privilege as we are now used to darkness. I have called UEDCL everyday using a lot of airtime to find out what is happening, but nobody seem to know. Their best answer is “Please leave your phone number and your name. We shall call you.†These fellows never call back. We know the current problems facing electricity in Uganda today, but let us know.
