THE outgoing presidency minister, Kirunda Kivejinja (right), has handed over portfolio to Beatrice Wabudeya.
This was at a brief ceremony at the cabinet library in the president’s office on Friday.
“I am handing over with pleasure because I am now grey-haired. I am giving way to the new generation as per the rule of nature,†said Kivejinja, who now moves to the Movement secretariat as the deputy National Political Commissar and director of foreign affairs.
He asked Wabudeya to sort out the outstanding issues of the presidential advisors and RDCs.
Wabudeya, who has been the state minister for higher education, pledged continued consultation.
