Theft strikes
MUKONO – Over 20 boat engines were stolen from fishermen of Lyabana, Luwero, Ziiru and Bagaya in Buvuma islands, the deputy district internal security officer has said. Chris Mulyekezi was addressing journalists in his office at the district headquarters recently.

Boy defiles
KABAROLE – A juvenile who attempted to commit suicide at Fort Portal Police station appeared before grade one magistrate Ruth Naabasa for defilement on Monday. The 17-year-old attempted to hang himself while in detention. He is to appear before the High Court.
