A HEALTH club manager in Nateete, a city suburb, overpowered four armed men in a tale of bravery at the weekend, reports Herbert Ssempogo.

Kampala Extra deputy Police chief Basil Mugisha on Monday said Godfrey Muhoora and Robert Muhwezi were going home on Sunday morning at about 2:00am when the thugs waylaid them.

Mugisha said on realising that the thugs had a fake pistol, Muhoora jumped out of the vehicle and pounced on one of them. The other three escaped.

An alarm raised by Muhoora and Muhwezi roused the sleeping residents, who converged at the scene and beat up G.W. Bukenya.

The Police said Bukenya, from Kyetume in Masaka district, breathed his last as he was being taken to Nateete Police Station.
Meanwhile, a guard from Ultimate Security recently attacked employees of Mogas Fuel Station on Entebbe Road and made off with sh900,000.

Mugisha said Silver Nduru locked up the pump attendants in a room at the station before taking off.
