UGANDA’S most successful football team manager Bidandi Ssali will be one of the resource people at today’s soccer stakeholders forum at Lugogo.

“We have invited him together with other seasoned administrators like first deputy prime minister Lt Gen Moses Ali and Balamaze Lwanga,” NCS official Charles Masembe said yesterday.

“We believe they have a lot to offer in reversing our declining standards.”

Bidandi was Cranes team manager during Uganda’s golden era when the soccer team stormed the 1978 Nations Cup and reached the final.

Registration for the forum will run from 8am to 9am. Five topics on various aspects of Ugandan football have been set for discussion.

Education and sports state minister Charles Bakkabulindi will officially open the forum. Geraldine Bitamazire, the education and sports minister, will close the forum at 5pm.
