Scribe alert: UN’s Eric Ogoso flies in today!

Former New Vision and The East African scribe, Eric Ogoso, has a cushy UN job in Nairobi complete with a fat salary and a brand new off-the-production-line-car. That’s the good news. However, whenever he sets foot in UG, scribes besiege him for a swallow (booze). As soon as the scribes learn he is in tawo, they descend on Uganda Management Institute (UMI) bar and drink on his account. Fed up of their freeloading, last week he sneaked in and out of Kampala unnoticed. And it was a move, which did not go down well with the scribes. They cried foul and cursed at his unbecoming behaviour. On his next visit (he flies in today), scribes plan to ambush him at Entebbe Airport and personally escort him to UMI for a swallow, lest he does a vanishing act. Over to you Eric!
