THE guitar’s fine twangs teased our ears; the clarinet’s shrill cry called out to us; the piano’s high-pitched notes pierced through our hearts as the choir joined in chorus.

The performance was to celebrate the fourth anniversary of Kampala Music School at Sheraton Kampala hotel last week.
It was a simple ceremony of fine music, enormous talent and a cheerful audience. Guests were hosted to a show where the school’s chamber orchestra performed various classical works.
