A FEMALE student of King’s College Budo, who excelled in last year’s O’level examinations, has won a sh1m award from the Catherine Senkatuka Shonubi Scholarship for girls.

“I am excited. I feel great to have achieved this. I thank the sponsors for their generosity. I will now study without much financial difficulties,” Marvis Kisaakye said during the Founders Day celebrations at the school on Sunday.
The scholarship, launched on Sunday, is a contribution of Mr and Mrs Alan Shonubi, both old students of the school.

Kisakye, 17, scored aggregate eight in the best eight subjects. She is studying Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and French at A’level.
