<b>‘FDC weak’</b><br>BUSHENYI — The deputy resident district commission, Patrick Kawamara, has said the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) is weak and cannot lead the country.

BUSHENYI — The deputy resident district commission, Patrick Kawamara, has said the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) is weak and cannot lead the country. He said this over the weekend at the annual general meeting of the Family planning association of Uganda at Igara hall.

Belgium aids
KASESE — The Royal Kingdom of Belgium has earmarked 4m euros (about sh9b) for the district. The Kasese-based Belgium Technical Cooperation adviser, Jan Van Droogenbroek, on Thursday said the money would support the district for the next four years.

LC5 warns
RUKUNGIRI — The LC5 chairman, Gabriel Kangwagye, has warned LC1 councils against handling land cases because the law bars them from doing so. Addressing residents of Buyanja sub-county recently, he said land cases should be referred to the Land Tribunal.
