TWENTY-TWO men were on Wednesday charged with being idle and disorderly.
The prosecutor told Kampala City Court that the men were found at different places on the night of April 29. They were remanded in Luzira Prison.

Man fined

AN office attendant was on Monday fined sh3m after he was found guilty of attempted murder.
Peter Kiryabweru was also jailed for one month over the same offence.
The magistrate said sh2.9m would be paid to the victim whose amputated due to severe injuries.

EIGHT suspects facing different charges of theft, assault and murder were on Wednesday set free by Kampala City Council (KCC) court due to lack of evidence.
The suspects appeared before KCC Court grade one Magistrate Gaster Mugoya.
The prosecution said the suspects committed the offence between January and March 2005.
