OPPOSITION groups have already demonstrated their inability to contest and win state power in the next presidential elections, the Minister of Water Lands and Environment, Major Kahinda Otafiire, has said.

He said the current wrangles in the three major opposition parties have made the public to doubt their competency.
Otafiire was on Monday addressing residents of Bulucheke sub-county in Manjiya county.

“The public is watching Ssemogerere and Sebaggala fighting over party leadership in the Democratic Party, Pulkol has almost set FDC on fire and Obote has only managed to create confusion in his own party,” he said.

“If you cannot solve simple problems within your party, how do you expect the public to entrust you with the whole government which has more problems?” he wondered aloud.

Otafiire was in the area to assess the viability of starting a water project in the area.
