The two, along with third-placed Ivory Coast, qualify for the world under-17 championship in Peru. The final was held up for several minutes when Ghana players accused a Gambian fan of planting a fetish near their goal.

SADOLIN Hockey Club suffered two consecutive losses at the hands of City Cubs and Wanainchi in the Uganda Hockey Association (UHA) organised league last weekend at Lugogo.

KAMPALA International University (KIU) women’s team, Rangers has been forced to lose their league victory over Nabisunsa and concede two points after their opponents protested. FUBA technical committee penalised Rangers for fielding players who had not been officially released and technically still belonged to another club (Amazon Rhinos).
