We are sick and tired of blackouts

SIR — I am sure the residents of Ggaba Kayira road are fed up like me of the constant blackouts. For the last one and a half weeks, power has been going off daily at 7.00pm and also during the day.

I thought loadshedding was supposed to be history starting with May! Even more irritating, two weeks before the blackouts, our transformer was taken for repair and for a whole fortnight we had no power. I wonder what they will have to say when we camp at their offices and pelt them with all the rotten food from our fridges.
Interestingly, our neighbours at Munyonyo seem to be “immune†from blackouts. Is it because the majority of the big shots are on that other side?
