A hospital in Milan, Italy, has offered to pay over sh180m for the hospitalisation and operation of four children diagnosed with heart disease in Mulago Hospital, but they will not pay for the air tickets to Italy, Father John Scalabrini said.
Scalabrini of Bbiina parish on Thursday told the press that Samantha Asaba, 2, Ivan Barigye (above), 6, Ronald Otim, 17 and Agnes tamwogeraku, 22, were supposed to undergo heart surgery in India in 1999. Each patient needed US$12,500 for surgery.
