THE Government is to establish an industrial park in Jinja, the resident district commissioner, Mugisha Muhwezi, has said.

Charles Kakamwa reports that Muhwezi said the Government would identify suitable areas and provide infrastructure.
He was meeting Korean investors led by their minister for trade, Rim Kyong Man, at his office on Friday.
Trade state minister Igeme Nabeta accompanied the delegation that was in the district to explore investment opportunities.
Deputy mayor Bagoole Kirimwiita said, “Jinja residents have an industrial culture and labour is redundant. We have unique tourist attractions and favourable factors such as the Lake Victoria and River Nile.”
The delegation toured Bujagali Falls, the source of River Nile, and fish factories in the town.
