Uganda finalises her ICC Mini World Cup preparations in Belfast today in confident mood after a morale-boosting one week tour of England.

After first struggling to adapt to the European conditions, the national cricket team rolled over all their opponents in encouraging build-up matches last week.

There are signs the opening batsmen are finally getting it right in time for the opening tie.

Uganda will automatically qualify for the 2007 World Cup in West Indies if they make it to the semi-finals.

Uganda’s best batsman and captain. A lot will depend on his composure in the middle of the innings, He has benefited from a semi-professional stint in South Africa.

Olweny is a true all-rounder who can also field at any position perfectly.

- Keith Legesi (24)
