RIYAZ Kurji has vowed to put the horrors of the Zambia and Moil Challenge rally behind him and win the Kenya Safari Rally.

Kurji and former champion Emmanuel Katto will spice up this year’s event
Kenya Motor Sports Foundation general manager Achie Khan said the 53rd event sponsored by Kenya Commercial Bank is due in Nairobi July 15-17.

Two more drivers from Uganda — Amin Lalani and Ponsiano Rwakataka — will be in action in the 800km event that will start and end at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre.

Kurji, who will be navigated by Sayed Kadri, is busy preparing his Subaru Impreza in a bid to regain lost ground.
