AFTER arriving late at the venue, the Forum for democratic Change chairperson, salaamu Musumba, on Monday lit up this year’s World Population Day celebrations in Kamuli district.

Musumba marched into the VIP tent flashing a V-sign.

Movement supporters responded with thumbs-up signals, while others flashed the three fingers for kisanja (a third term for President Yoweri Museveni).

Salaamu and her husband Isaac Musumba (state minister for planning) amused the gathering when they flashed different signals.

While Isaac flashed the thumb, Salaamu responded with a V-sign.
Salaamu said Isaac had not done enough for Kamuli and vowed to oust him for not performing his political role.

Isaac said Salaamu needed spectacles “for her politically-squinted eyes.”

Defence state minister Ruth Nankabirwa described Salaamu as “a powerful legislator with a diverted mind and vision.”
