Kasaija is getting a practice round today ahead of the 36-hole stroke play event starting tomorrow. The Fort Portal star, who travelled separately on Thursday, was joined today by Rajiv Ruparelia, Amos Kamya and Noorani Jr yesterday.

Kenya arrive
KENYA national men’s and women’s netball teams leave for Kampala today ahead of the Commonwealth Games qualifiers that start on Monday. The teams that leave by road consist of 26 players and six officials. Financial constraints nearly cost the teams the trip.

Masindi gala
UGANDA Volleyball Federation (UVF) has chosen to host this year’s national championships in Masindi at the Boma grounds September 23 -25. UVF organising commission boss Hassan Sekajoolo said schools would be provided accommodation at Kabalega SSS while clubs would foot their own bills for the championship.
